Mission
To inspire our church family to value, excercise and promote the practice of prayer.

Vision
That prayer would be a lifestyle.
That Prayer will be woven into the fabric and DNA of our church family.
The core of who we are, is praying people, seeking God's presence.

Goal
Every member, a praying member!

Prayer is foundational. Prayerless ministry is powerless ministry.
We believe in an all powerful God who loves to answer prayer.

Prayer Walk
The people of the River believe prayer makes a difference. We invite the whole church family to participate in a prayer walk in Wingham the first Wednesday of the month at 7:30 p.m. meeting initially at the church. Come and be part of this opportunity to pray blessing for the community and to be blessed! John Kranenburg begins with a brief teaching about Prayer Walking before we go out.

Prayer Sanctuary

The Prayer Sanctuary is: A worshipful, safe, contemplative space. A place free of distractions. A place to experience scripture and worship, that is mult-sensory, active and interactive. A place where you are given permission to feel more and go deeper than usual. A place to pray, read scripture, confess, meditate on God or Scripture, and “be still”. The Prayer Sanctuary is open when ever the church is open.
